SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mechanical modular transmission of a tractor. In the transmission, each of the units is made in a separate housing with the possibility of connection with other transmission units by connecting the ends of the shafts and housing flanges. The primary and secondary shafts of each of the transmission units are located in the vertical plane of symmetry of the unit. The ends of the input shafts of the units are made of the same connecting size and the corresponding projection relative to the mating surface of the casing flanges with the possibility of their interconnection by means of unified spline couplings.

EFFECT: simplification of the design, increase in the number of modifications by changing the configuration of the transmission elements.
