FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diaphragm pumps and is intended for use in the petroleum industry, in particular, when extracting fluid from a borehole, and can also be used in other industries and branches of agriculture. Composite piston of a diaphragm pump, containing a pusher with rings installed thereon coaxially. The novel characteristic of the invention consists in the pusher being made with a surface located at an angle to the surface on the body supporting the rings; a spiral can also be installed instead of the rings.
EFFECT: structural simplification, increase in the reliability and durability, elimination of breakage of the elastic body in various types of pumps using a diaphragm and a membrane, increase in the possibility of creating high pressures on the pumped liquid and the possibility of using such pumps for installation in boreholes with significant depths.
