FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining and petroleum industry and, primarily, to a hoisting system for drilling rigs intended for lowering, lifting and holding up drilling and casing strings while building boreholes. Substance: technical condition of the wire line of hoisting systems of drilling rigs is monitored by determining the elastic properties of the wire line while loading, wherein the load of the wire line is determined by measuring the tension of the fixed branch thereof during hoisting operations, and the elongation is calculated based on the data of the measurement of the rotation angle of the drum of the drilling winch in the process of loading the wire line and the value of the diameter of winding on the drum of the drilling winch.
EFFECT: possibility of continuous automated monitoring of the technical condition of the wire line in hoisting operations.
