SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pneumatic nail gun. The gun contains a case with handle (12) and end tool (28), working piston (52) located in the case and connected to hammering striker (50) for hammering a fastener and, when starting a hammering operation, loaded with compressed air pressure, trigger valve (22) containing valve sleeve (44) and valve stem (42) located in valve sleeve (44), control channel (82) located in the case and made with the possibility of supply of air to it or removal of air from it through trigger valve (22) to start the hammering operation, when valve stem (42) is moved to an actuation position relatively to valve sleeve (44), contact sensor (24), trigger mechanism (14), and contact surface (40) connected to trigger mechanism (14) and/or contact sensor (24), wherein contact surface (40) is designed to actuate valve stem (42), outer sleeve (60) located in the case, wherein valve sleeve (44) is located in outer sleeve (60), wherein valve sleeve (44) is made with the possibility of movement relatively to outer sleeve (60) between the actuation position and a locking position in accordance with pressure in safety control chamber (62). In this case, contact surface (40) is made with the possibility of connection to trigger mechanism (14) and/or contact sensor (24) so that, when trigger mechanism (14) and contact sensor (24) are activated, contact surface (40) is located in a predetermined switching position relatively to outer sleeve (60), and at the same time, in the switching position, contact surface (40) is made with the possibility of movement of valve stem (42) to the actuation position, when valve sleeve (42) is in the actuation position, and without the possibility of movement of valve stem (42) to the actuation position, when valve sleeve (44) is in the locking position.

EFFECT: development of a pneumatic nail gun with an effective, durable and reliable safety mechanism.
