FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a spiral spring for a clock resonator mechanism. The spiral spring (1) extends essentially in one plane and contains a flexible tape (2) wound around itself in several turns, and a setting tool for changing the free length of the twisted tape (2), and the setting tool includes a clamp (3) movable along at least one end section (6) of the spiral spring (1), while the clamp (3) extends essentially in the plane of the spiral spring (1), and the clamp (3) has two working surfaces (4, 5), located on each side of the twisted tape (2) in a variety of positions to set the variable free length of the spiral spring (1), while the clamp (3) and the twisted spring (2) are connected to each other by a flexible element (7) that lets the clamp (3) and the working surfaces (4, 5) move along the twisted tape (2).
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the oscillator frequency adjustment.
