SUBSTANCE: invention constitutes a method implemented by producing an ethanol extract of biologically active substances from the vegetative matter of a plant of the Heracleum sosnowskyi species, after pre-drying to a dry state, crushing and infusing for at least 2 weeks, filtering, and treating the plants and harmful arthropods located thereon by spraying with a working solution at a 1% concentration.
EFFECT: possible high biological effectiveness in fighting sucking and leaf-eating harmful arthropods on various agricultural and decorative plants, nearing that of chemical insectoacaricides (88 to 100%).
