FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to the designs of combined helicopters. The synchrocopter with folding propellers comprises a fuselage, a landing gear, a wing, engines, two transverse rotors connected to the engines by a synchronization shaft, and wings. The propellers are made in the form of monoblades with the possibility of folding them into niches made in the fuselage behind the drives of said propellers. The transmission is equipped with mechanisms for disabling the synchronizing shaft using a controlled clutch with the possibility of driving the propellers from one or two engines or simultaneously disengaging the propellers. The propeller drives are equipped with turning and locking mechanisms with the possibility of accurately determining the position using position sensors of each of the propeller blades and accurately turning them individually by separate electric drives through transmission mechanisms equipped with rotation sensors to the position when the propeller monoblades are opposite the niches and the propellers are folded into the niches.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the maximum horizontal speed of the synchrocopter.
