FIELD: vibration damping.
SUBSTANCE: device for vibration damping of the span structures of the bridge belongs to the transport construction. The device contains energy absorbers, consisting of a housing, an inertial mass, upper and lower thrust springs of the inertial mass, a bearing elastic element, a housing support cover, housing lugs and an energy absorber base. Bearing elastic element, inertial mass and thrust springs of inertial masses are placed coaxially. The housing and base of the energy absorber are rigidly fixed respectively to the bridge support and to the span structure of the bridge structure. Energy absorbers are located at equal acute angles to the vertical, ensuring the intersection of the axes of movement of the inertial masses of two symmetrically located devices for damping oscillations at the point of the center of mass of the section of the beam of the span bridge structure.
EFFECT: design makes it possible to ensure the compactness of the device and more complete damping of vibrations, regardless of the direction of the load acting on the span bridge structure, and thereby increase the reliability of bridge structures.
