FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to devices for magnetizing multi-pole cylindrical magnets used in electrical machines. An N-pole inductor contains N conductive busbars (N is the number of poles of the magnet) evenly distributed around the circumference. The busbars in the radial section have a shape that depends on the number of poles of the magnet, the magnitude of the required field (the size of the magnet) and the permissible current density. The busbars in the radial section are bounded by lines, one of which is the arc of a circle, and the radial coordinates of the second boundary are calculated by the formula. All busbars have the same dimensions and are connected in series. The busbars are distributed evenly around the circumference with a small gap for insulation.
EFFECT: increase in the magnetization efficiency of multi-pole cylindrical magnets that create a field distributed according to a sinusoidal law.
