FIELD: video encoding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for encoding video information. A candidate for affine fusion is obtained based on a neighboring block adjacent to the current block. A list of candidates for fusion is generated, including the specified candidate for affine fusion. One of a set of candidates for fusion, included in the specified list of candidates for fusion, is defined. Motion vectors of an angle of the current block are obtained based on the defined candidate for fusion. A motion vector of a subblock is obtained in the current block based on motion vectors of the angle of the current block. Motion compensation is performed for the subblock based on the specified motion vector. Moreover, the candidate for affine fusion is obtained based on motion vectors of an angle of the neighboring block. Based on whether the neighboring block is included in the same encoding tree unit (ETU) as the current block, angle positions, each of which is assigned with an angle motion vector used for obtainment of the candidate for affine fusion, are determined in different ways.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of encoding video information.
