SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of diving equipment, namely, to underwater transport means – individual diver transport vehicles. Towing apparatus of an individual diver transport vehicles consists of a body with an eyelet whereto a latch hook with a safety apparatus is passed. A winding mechanism is located in the body, and a locking mechanism is located in the central part thereof. A rope layer and a tow line are provided in the body of the towing apparatus for the correct and uniform rope laying. The tow line constitutes a steel rope, the free end whereof has an eyesplice with a thimble whereto the latch hook with a safety apparatus is passed; the tow line also has a rubber sleeve locked from moving, preventing the free end of the tow line from being wound onto the screw of the diver transport vehicle.

EFFECT: higher safety of divers when towing objects.
