SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of thermoplastic polystyrene-based plastic materials and can be used in the production of household and technical products with a nacre-imitating surface. Thermoplastic composition processed into products by die-casting contains polystyrene in an amount of 80 to 95 wt.% and a modifying agent in an amount of 5 to 20 wt.%. A butadiene styrene block copolymer with an A-B/A-A linear structure, wherein A is a polystyrene block, B/A is a block of a static copolymer of butadiene and styrene containing 70 wt.% bound styrene, is used as a modifying agent.

EFFECT: nacre-imitating polymer composition processed by die-casting, exhibiting high impact strength and containing fewer components.
