FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, to a magnetic suspension device of levitation vehicles. The claimed hybrid electromagnet includes permanent magnets, an electromagnetic coil, and a magnetic core consisting of three poles. The electromagnetic coil is located between edge and middle poles of the magnetic core, and it embraces the middle pole of the magnetic core. Permanent magnets are installed by magnetization vectors opposite from two sides from the middle pole of the magnetic core and the electromagnetic coil. A length of magnetic core poles is more than a height of permanent magnets and the electromagnetic coil, and ends of magnetic core poles protrude above permanent magnets and the electromagnetic coil to one side.
EFFECT: improvement of weight and size characteristics.
