SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used for joining wooden structures. The dowel connection of wooden elements of building structures includes connected wooden elements, linings and cylindrical steel dowels installed in pre-drilled holes. Holes with steel pins inserted into them are closed on both sides with wooden plugs installed flush with the surface of the lining, while the diameter of the hole for the plugs is larger than the diameter of the hole for the pin.
EFFECT: prevention of corrosive wear of wood and metal by eliminating the influence of temperature and humidity conditions on the metal-wood joint.
