FIELD: heat and sound insulating materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of heat and sound insulating materials made on the basis of animal hair, and can be used in the textile industry, in the automotive industry and in construction, in particular, when insulating cars, buildings and structures. The insulation contains a fibrous mixture of natural wool, made of multilayer and located between two sheets. Each of the canvases is made of thermal fabric, and the multilayer mixture is made in the form of a layer of musk ox giviut and successively laid layers of sheep wool and layers of reindeer hair, while the thermal fabric is mounted to the multilayer mixture by adhesive bonding. Layers of sheep wool and reindeer hair can be laid on both sides of the layer of musk ox giviut. The specific gravity of one sheet with an adhesive base and each of the layers of the multilayer mixture is in the range of values, g/m2: sheet with an adhesive base 0.05-0.055; sheep wool 0.066-0.138; deer hair 0.011-0.027; musk ox giviut 0.033-0.055; deer hair 0.011-0.027; sheep wool 0.066-0.138; canvas with adhesive base 0.05-0.055. Reindeer hair can be used as deer hair.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in thermal conductivity, as well as a reduction in the thickness and mass of the insulation.
