FIELD: industrial equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial equipment. The device for forming a hexagonal package of pipes of round section contains a stationary frame, at least two pockets for pipes, a drive of the lifting and lowering platform. The frame contains a lifting and lowering platform driven by a drive. Each of the pockets is formed by a horizontal lodgement located in the fixed walls and by turning wings forming the side faces of the package. The lifting and lowering platform drive is made in the form of a pneumatic power element, such as an air cushion or an air spring. The lifting and lowering platform contains a prismatic lodgment. Swivel wings are V-shaped.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the device design with reduced dynamic load on pipes and reduced noise level at workplaces when forming a pipe package on a production line.
