FIELD: geophysical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealed heat-resistant radio-transparent non-magnetic casing for geophysical instruments immersed in a borehole. The casing contains an inner casing made of a reinforced polymer composite material. The casing also contains a row of hollow ceramic cylinders located end-to-end and fastened to each other and to the inner body with glue, and two adapters located end-to-end at both ends of the row of ceramic cylinders. The casing has an outer casing made of at least one layer of fiber-reinforced polymer composite material independently in the annular and axial directions. Places for embedding each of the adapters in the outer casing or at least one of its layers in case of a multilayer structure are sealed with at least one radial elastic seal in the form of a rectangular ring. Flats are made on the side surface of the adapters in the places of embedding into the outer casing, which do not coincide with the places of installation of elastic seals.
EFFECT: sealed heat-resistant radio-transparent non-magnetic casing creation.
