FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely, to dual-action hydraulic cylinders with a one-sided rod with rectilinear reciprocating output action, and is applicable in agricultural, building, mining, and transport machinery, as well as in any other hydraulic equipment requiring highly precise positioning of the output link. Hydraulic cylinder with adjustable rod stroke includes a sleeve acting as the body, a piston and a rod used for the reciprocating movement of the output link, a limiting sleeve constituting the mechanical stop of the rod stroke, a front cover and a back cover, wherein the piston and the rod located in the sleeve can change the value of rod stroke between the back cover and the limiting sleeve by axially moving the limiting sleeve when the front cover is untwisted or twisted.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of positioning the output link of the hydraulic cylinder.
