FIELD: engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gyroscope engineering, in particular, to methods for controlling a brushless DC motor and reducing the drift. Substance of the invention consists in changing the method for controlling a brushless DC engine in the starting and operating modes; therefor, the apparatus includes a new rotor speed stabiliser consisting of a quartz generator, a two-phase pulse sequence shaper, a frequency comparator, a forced control and restart apparatus, a switch panel, electronic keys, an adder, an inverter, a controlled reference voltage source, and a phase detector, capable of reducing the drift of the gyroscope and increasing the thermal stability thereof, as well as reducing the energy consumption of the phase windings of the gyroscope.
EFFECT: improved accuracy parameters of the gyroscope and stability thereof, improved temperature profile of the gyroscope.
