SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar energy, in particular to solar energy devices designed to generate electricity by photoelectric conversion of solar energy on the lunar surface. The solar photovoltaic power plant comprises a hollow cylindrical support, a shaft coaxially mounted in the cavity of the cylindrical support, a frame with a drive and with an optical solar sensor mounted on the upper end of the shaft by means of a cylindrical hinge and a solar battery mounted on the frame, mounted on a hollow heat-removing base. The upper part of the cylindrical support and the upper part of the shaft are bent at an angle φ to their vertical parts, equal to the selenographic latitude at the location of the power plant. The axis of the rod of the cylindrical hinge is located in the plane of the bending of the axis of the shaft. The rod of the cylindrical hinge is provided with channels for the passage of the inlet pipeline, equipped with a pump, and the outlet pipeline. Screens with a reflective outer surface are attached to the sides of the heat-removing base. The lower parts of the cylindrical support and the shaft are provided with a horizontal hollow heat-conducting base buried in the lunar soil. The cavity of the heat-removing base is connected by an inlet pipeline equipped with a pump and an outlet pipeline passing through the channels of the cylindrical hinge rod to the cavity of the horizontal heat-conducting base.

EFFECT: efficient conversion of solar radiation into electrical energy and obtaining a high specific energy output due to efficient heat removal from a photovoltaic battery under conditions of long-term operation of a power plant on the lunar surface.
