FIELD: lifting and handling units.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and handling units and may be used for transporting and stacking flat solid units in onshore warehouses and riverside roads. A lifting and handling unit consists of a self-propelled chassis with a V-shaped base and a trailer with a U-shaped base secured to the self-propelled chassis by means of a rigid coupling. The base is fitted with a rotating hoist frame with grooves, the rotating hoist is connected to the U-shaped base by means of front and rear pairs of hydraulic cylinders. The front hydraulic cylinders are attached to the U-shaped base and to the lift frame by means of hinges. The rear cylinders are rigidly attached to the U-shaped base and the other end is hinged to the lift frame. The longitudinal extension beams are inserted into the slots in the load carrier frame, which are secured to each other with transversal stiffeners. Vertical struts with horizontal stiffeners are rigidly fixed at right angles at the front ends of the longitudinal beams. The beams are extended by means of a hydraulic cylinder, which is hinged to the horizontal plate at one end and to the V-shaped base at the other end.

EFFECT: invention provides for expanding functional area.
