FIELD: smoking devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detection of smoke-forming substances in tobacco products. Disclosed is a method for detecting the amount of released aluminium contained in the smoke of a heat-not-burn cigarette, including the following stages: preparing a set of standard working solutions of aluminium; building a standard working curve of aluminium for the set of standard working solutions combined with a working solution of an internal standard, wherefor the ratio of the content of the aluminium element to the content of the internal standard element is represented on the abscissa axis and the ratio of intensity of the mass/charge ratio of the aluminium element to the intensity of the mass/charge ratio of the internal standard element is represented on the ordinate axis, wherein the resulting curve is characterised by a regression equation Y=0.7251x+0.01378; inhaling from the heat-not-burn cigarette and collecting all smoke compositions of the heat-not-burn cigarette; obtaining a sample solution based on all the collected smoke compositions; determining the amount of aluminium contained in the smoke composition in accordance with the measurement results and the analysis of the sample solution in combination with the standard working curve of aluminium.
EFFECT: high sensitivity and reproducibility of the method, optimal accuracy and high reliability of the results.
