FIELD: computer technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology and can be used to protect information that does not contain information constituting a state secret. The technical result is the implementation of the purpose of the claimed solution, namely, ensuring the creation of a means of cryptographic information protection (CIPF). To do this, the CIPF is controlled by an external control terminal. CIPF is executed in the form of a monoblock, in which all protected information is stored, and all functions of processing protected information are performed in a separate structural element of CIPF. All protected information in the CIPF is loaded and unloaded from the CIPF by means of a key document reader/writer. The performance of all functions of processing protected information is duplicated, the occurrence of events dangerous for the CIPF and the occurrence of situations dangerous for the CIPF are controlled. The structural element of the CIPF, which controls the onset of dangerous events and the occurrence of dangerous situations and reacts to these events and situations, is powered by a separate battery in case the external power supply of the CIPF is turned off. For physical access to the use of a connector for connecting an external control terminal and a connector for a reader/writer of key documents, a shutter is used, the presence and position of which is controlled by a separate structural element of the CIPF.
