FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering. The method for operation of the gas turbine stage of the gear consists in the formation of a vortex in the space of the planet gear. One nozzle (2) or several nozzles (2) located on a fixed housing (1) in the form of a truncated cone due to the tangential inlet of the gas flow at its apex form a vortex in front of a single satellite blade in the form of a truncated cone mounted on the crankshaft carrier (5). The gas flow of the vortex formed by the nozzles (2) smoothly enters and screws into the channel formed between the satellite cone (8) and the inner cone surface of the housing (1), and during its progress expands and affects the satellite cone (8). The effect of the flow on the satellite cone (8) leads it into rotation and forces it to run over the inner surface of the conical housing (1) by means of clutch or gear transmission friction with further transmission of rotation to the gear transmission with output to the consumer of rotational energy.
EFFECT: ensuring the shock-free entry of the heated gas flow into the channel of the movable wheel, as well as excluding erosive phenomena on the surface of the last stages of the blades of combined-cycle turbines.
