SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an air intake (100) for mounting on a panel (3) of an aircraft. The air intake contains an air intake edge (108) with a wall, a peripheral ring element (109) made with the possibility of fastening to the panel (3), and a support element (110) made with the possibility of supporting the air duct (6) for air circulation. The air intake lip is made of thermoplastic material. The support element is fixed to the annular element so as to provide a pressure barrier in the event of damage to the air intake edge wall.
EFFECT: reduced production costs and prevention of air leaks.
