SUBSTANCE: method for detecting the target malicious web resource comprises steps of receiving an indication of at least one suspicious input web resource from the user device, as well as the user device parameters; building at least one redirect chain for each of the received suspicious input web resources; checking at least one constructed redirect chain for compliance with at least one rule for redirecting users to malicious target web resources; in response to compliance of at least one built redirect chain with at least one rule for redirecting users to malicious target web resources, a target malicious web resource is detected in at least one built chain, blocked, and a notification is sent to the user device.
EFFECT: increase of the accuracy of target malicious web resource detection.
