FIELD: mechanical engineering; power plants operating in conjunction with an internal combustion engine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed combined power plant system includes turbocharger 1 and combined engine 2, consisting of working part 3 operating in a four-stroke mode, pneumatic part 4 operating in a two-stroke mode and compressor part 5 operating in a two-stroke mode, each of which has a cylinder-piston group, and also a cylinder head with a system of intake and exhaust manifolds with a valve mechanism. Working part 3, pneumatic part 4 and compressor part 5 are connected by a piping system and common crankshaft 6, while mechanism for changing the gear ratio 7 is installed on crankshaft 6 between working part 3 and pneumatic part 4. The outlet of turbocharger 1 through the air pressure pipeline is connected to the inlet of compressor part 5, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of working part 3. The output of working part 3, containing the exhaust gases, is connected to the inlet of pneumatic part 4, and the output of pneumatic part 4 is connected to the inlet of turbocharger 1.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the system, increased efficiency with the use of exhaust gas energy and a simple design.
