FIELD: microwave technology; filters.
SUBSTANCE: strip band pass filter for harmonics contains dielectric substrates suspended inside the screen, on one surface of which strip metal conductors of the resonators are deposited, electromagnetically coupled to each other and having the shape, for example, of a rectangle. Each resonator in the filter is formed by a pair of strip conductors located opposite each other on the surface of the first and second substrates. One end of each strip conductor is directly connected to the screen, and the other end is connected to the screen through a lumped capacitance. Between the substrates there is a thin metal film closed along the entire perimeter to the body, the thickness of which is less than the depth of the skin layer in the film metal at the operating frequency of the resonator. In this case, the number of substrates is equal to two for any number of strip conductors, which are located only on one surface of each dielectric substrate, and one end of each strip conductor is directly connected to the screen, and the second end is connected to the screen through a lumped capacitance.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of the harmonic filter and simplification of its design.
