ACCESSORY MASK FOR MILITARY VEHICLES WITH VAN AND CONTAINER BODIES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F41H3/00 

FIELD: military affairs.

SUBSTANCE: deforming masks used to distort the appearance of concealed military equipment. The mask is an accessory for military equipment with van and container bodies (1) consists of a frame (2) and a camouflage cover. The frame is represented by posts of a telescopic three-link structure made of pultruded composite fiberglass with springs installed at the ends of the lower links of the props and between the middle and upper links of the posts, and clamps connecting the lower links with the middle links and the middle links with the upper links , headbands, hinged to the ends of the upper links of the posts with clamps and equipped with tubes and hooks for attaching fragments of vegetation and a camouflage cover with a net base to the headbands, as well as hinge nodes (11) with pins for attaching the ends of the lower links of the posts to the surface concealed object by means of fastening supports made of rigid polymeric material with mounting platforms and manual vacuum suction cups. The posts are installed with the ability to rotate at any given angle. A protective camouflage screen (4) is additionally introduced into the mask, containing a quick-release seam and made of two fabric fragments sewn together along the perimeter, inside of which a radio-heat-absorbing layer of elastic polyurethane foam with a radio-absorbing additive (evlon) is mounted.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of hiding military equipment with van and container bodies in place, during short-term stops and in motion, in the visible, infrared and radar EMW ranges using radio heat-absorbing materials.
