SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at identifying and controlling high-voltage equipment in a power supply system using indicating means. The system for identification and control of high-voltage equipment contains a radio-frequency identification tag, with a chip having an identification multi-digit code, and the tag is both an identifier and an RFID indicator or its component, which is attached to high-voltage equipment located on a section of a power line or at an electrical substation, data processing and storage means in form of a remote server with a database, configured to receive a signal from the tag through a data exchange device in form of a reader, and when the tag is replaced, the replacement date is recorded.

EFFECT: reducing the time for determining the authenticity of the product, reducing the number of fakes, increasing the reliability of information on keeping records of equipment, providing operational automated control of the technical condition of high-voltage equipment during operation, increasing the reliability of both stand-alone equipment and the entire power supply system.
