FIELD: smoking products.
SUBSTANCE: electronic device (100) for vaping contains a cartridge (110) and a power supply assembly (170). The cartridge (110) comprises a reservoir body (101) at least partially forming a reservoir, wherein the reservoir is configured to hold the finished composition for evaporation, and the evaporator assembly (140) configured to draw the finished composition for evaporation from the reservoir and heat the drawn ready composition for evaporation with formation of steam. The power supply assembly (170) is configured to energize the cartridge (110) to initiate vaporization of the evaporator assembly (140). The power supply assembly comprises a power supply configured to supply power; connecting element (181, 196) interface, made with the possibility of electrical connection of the power supply unit with the evaporator assembly; a light emitting device (188-1, 188-2) configured to emit light; and a light guide structure (190-1, 190-2) having a proximal end and a distal end.
EFFECT: possibility of identifying the properties of the cartridge based on the determination of the value of a particular instance of information associated with the cartridge.
