A method for treating biotin-deficient conditions in children of the first year of life and older includes adding the specified composition to a food product suitable for children of the first year of life and older, and a single dose of biotin of 2.5–20 mg, and the daily dose reaching 100 mg/day.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively and safely treat biotin-deficient conditions in children of the first year of life and older, and the indicated agent has a high solubility, which makes it possible to add it to breast milk substitutes and complementary foods.
