FIELD: tiltrotors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling a tiltrotor vertical take-off and landing. To control a tiltrotor with the help of rotary propellers, a lift force is created in the vertical take-off and landing modes and propulsion force in the cruising flight modes in a certain way, the thrust value of each rotary ring propeller is changed to control the total thrust and create control moments, the lift force and aerodynamic moments are changed in the cruise flight mode and transient flight modes using aerodynamic controls depending on the required flight path.
EFFECT: flight safety is improved by increasing the reliability and ensuring the stability and controllability of a tiltrotor-type aircraft in all flight modes, including transitional ones.
