FIELD: locking devices.

SUBSTANCE: electric door lock is related to mechanisms for locking doorways and controlling them, including in places that require the use of an elastic door seal and sealing, in particular in the cabs of subway cars. The lock contains a body, inside which there is a locking mechanism with a spring-loaded pawl, configured with the possibility of movement, an electromagnet and an emergency opening mechanism of the lock. The locking mechanism of the lock is made in form of a spring-loaded pawl, an upper swivel lever connected to an upper link mounted for movement in a horizontal plane and spring-loaded by a return coil spring and an opposing double-acting leaf spring. The upper pivot arm is pivotally mounted and interconnected with push handles. The emergency opening mechanism of the lock is connected to a spring-loaded pawl and is made in form of a lower swivel arm mounted with the possibility of interacting with the turn limiter posts and an L-shaped rod, installed with the possibility of moving in a horizontal plane along the guide slots.

EFFECT: increased operational characteristics of the lock and the possibility of using it in door systems with sealing and sealing contour.
