FIELD: light industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to waterproof protective clothing against industrial risks of underwater welding processes. Protective heat-resistant wetsuit for underwater welding consists of a hollow impervious elastic material shaped like a human body. The protective heat-resistant wetsuit for underwater welding is made of the main polymer material, foamed chloroprene, in combination with a complex barrier material of heat-resistant silicone. When pairing clothing parts from a complex barrier material of the specified structure in areas with an increased thermal risk ( forearms, shoulders, central and lateral parts of the torso, shins) and parts covering the rest of the surface of the human body highly elastic highly porous material is used to form a complex protective hybrid clothing shell, obtained with the help of lines of division of the structure, providing pairing of parts of the product with uneven elasticity, thickness, thermal stability and the direction of sliding of hot metal particles over the surface, while still enabling free movement of the arms, legs and torso of a person under water.
EFFECT: increase in the level of resistance of underwater protective clothing to the risks of thermal burn-through by particles of hot metal of underwater welding is achieved.
