SUBSTANCE: applied in the information technology industry. The superheterodyne transceiver for the radio relay line further consists of a microcontroller in the cycloinverter configured to calibrate the quadrature mixer of the cycloinverter. The method for automatic calibration of the cycloinverter mixer of a superheterodyne transceiver for a radio relay line provides the ability to supply a balanced mixer with a constant component to the input, which makes it possible to use direct quadrature modulation in the frequency cycloinverter, due to which the need to form an intermediate frequency is eliminated and the possibility of a single conversion appears frequency with the concomitant elimination of the risk of leakage of the local oscillator signal into the transmitting path, which reduces the risk of side components appearing in the output information signal.
EFFECT: reducing the risk of distortion of the output information signal of the transceiver.
