FIELD: handling operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-gripping devices with permanent magnets and can be used for capturing, long-term holding and transportation with subsequent release of ferromagnetic and non-magnetically conductive loads in robotic devices for various purposes. The magnetoelectric load gripper, mainly cylindrical in configuration, contains a yoke, a non-remagnetizable permanent magnet, a control winding coil, an outer pole and is equipped with a transverse pole and a core on which the transverse pole and the coil are fixed. A core and a unidirectionally magnetized magnet are coaxially attached to the yoke, to which the outer pole is also attached coaxially, forming with them in a radial section an W-shaped magnetic circuit, in which, in turn, the core, the yoke and the transverse pole can be made in the form of a monolithic T-shaped magnetic circuit core with magnetic properties of the outer pole. The gripper can be equipped with a ferromagnetic plate mounted on a non-magnetically conductive or ferromagnetic load with low magnetic properties. Between the outer surface of the transverse pole and the inner surface of the outer pole, such a non-magnetic gap is formed that its magnetic resistance to the magnetic flux from the magnet is much greater than the magnetic resistance to the same magnetic flux during the capture of a load passing through the outer pole, the core and the ferromagnetic load or plate, and much less than the magnetic resistance to the same magnetic flux closing through the outer pole and the core in case of no load. When a current pulse is applied to the coil, the attractive gripping force is significantly reduced down to zero due to the removal of the magnetic flux of the magnet from the load or plate by closing it through the transverse pole to the magnet.

EFFECT: increased energy efficiency by increasing the attractive gripping force and reducing energy consumption, simplifying the design, increasing reliability and service life, and expanding the possibilities of use.
