FIELD: positioning.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in operation of existing and future aiming and navigation systems of aircrafts. The claimed method includes repeated measurement of the coordinates of an air object during specified time intervals at N fixed ranges, while Dc0 ≥ Dc1 ≥ … > DcN where Dc0 is the maximum detection range of an air object by the OES under the prevailing meteorological conditions. At each range, the mismatch of the same angular coordinates of the air object measured by the radar and the OES is calculated, the average values of the obtained mismatches for each coordinate for each range are calculated, the dependence of the adjustment error on the range is plotted, which is then used in the algorithm for aiming the aircraft weapon.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of determining the alignment errors of the airborne radar (AR) and optoelectronic stations (OES) of an aircraft.
