SUBSTANCE: low-voltage power distribution control centers and motor control centers, in particular, plug-in connections used to connect electrical equipment installed in functional units (withdrawable or removable units) in low-voltage switchgear and control equipment with external cables. The invention is a plug assembly containing a male part and a corresponding socket part, used to create a connection between the output power circuits of a functional unit and external cables in the cable compartment of a low-voltage switchgear. Depending on the location of the socket and cable compartment, the invention provides for two options, namely side access and rear access.

EFFECT: enabling connection of external cables with improved cable protection mechanism.
