FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: coal and mining industry, construction and other sectors of the national economy associated with the destruction of rocks and frozen rocks and artificial materials. The perforating gun consists of a cylinder, a piston-striker, an air valve body, a drilling rod turning mechanism, including a nut, a locking assembly consisting of a ratchet ring with teeth and locking elements, a rotary screw with radial holes extending towards the locking elements. According to the first embodiment, the rotary screw of the perforator is made with an end groove communicating with the radial holes through additional holes, and the end surfaces of the rotary screw on the side of the locking elements are made steplike. According to the second embodiment, the end surfaces of the rotary screw on the side of the locking elements are made with a slope towards the end surface of the rotary screw on the side of the air valve body so that the passing compressed air flow declines the locking elements towards contact with the teeth of the ratchet ring.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of compressed air for the drive of the closing elements of the locking assembly of the rotary mechanism of the perforator, and, consequently, increased reliability and efficiency of its operation.
