SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sash fittings for a piece of furniture. The fittings (10) of the sash for a piece of furniture has a lever mechanism (16) containing a plurality of levers (17, 19) for guiding the sash of the piece of furniture. In this case, the lever mechanism (16) is at least partially retracted into the body (11) of the sash fittings (10) in the closed position, and the lever mechanism (16) of the sash fittings (10) is accessible through the front opening (12) of the body (11) in the assembled condition. An auxiliary element (20) with a connecting section (21) is provided, attached with the possibility of removal and rotation to one of the levers (17, 19) of the lever mechanism (16) for extending the lever mechanism (16) from the hole (12) by pulling the auxiliary element (20).
