SUBSTANCE: present invention mainly relates to a sealed and heat-insulating tank for transporting and/or storing liquefied natural gas, comprising at least one support structure (4) and a storage structure (2), surrounded by a support structure (4), whereas the storage structure (2) comprises at least one first section (46) and one second section (48), which are sealed relative to each other, whereas the first section (46) and the second section (48) go at least partially in the same plane parallel to the support structure (4), wherein the storage structure (2) has a thickness from the outside to the inside of the tank (1) along a direction perpendicular to the plane of the support structure (4), whereas the tank (1) comprises a closing device (58) located at least partially in the thickness of the storage structure (2), whereas the closing device (58) comprises at least one first closing element, and one second closing element, configured for interaction with each other to separate the first section (46) from the second section (48), whereas at least one of the closing elements comprises the first part and the second part, which go in intersecting planes, characterized in that at least one of the parts of one and/or the other of the closing elements is connected to at least one of the sections (46, 48) using a fastening device (84), which is located in the thickness of the storage structure (2).
