FIELD: artillery.
SUBSTANCE: means for measuring the speed of linear movements of the recoil parts of artillery installations. The invention relates to electromagnetic devices for measuring the speed of linear movements, in particular to measuring the speed of movement of recoil parts and the wedge of artillery installations. The device contains a base with a bracket located on it, on which a guide block is fixed, an axis with a speed measurement unit fixed on it, consisting of a return mechanism containing a drum with a spiral spring inside and a flexible link attached to it for connecting to the object of measurement, the source of creation an electromagnetic signal connected to the return mechanism by elastic sliding contacts, and a photoelectric path measurement unit consisting of a path signal source carrier with holes made in it and an optocoupler placed on a bracket and supplied with power from an external source. In the speed measurement unit, on the outer cylindrical surface of the drum, there is a helical groove in which a flexible connecting link is located, made in the form of a flexible cable, the end walls of the drum are made in the form of electrically conductive disks, between which a source for generating an electromagnetic signal is locally placed. In the photoelectric path measurement unit, the carrier of the path signal source is the end wall of the drum with optical marks applied to it, for example, in the form of holes parallel to the axis of rotation of the drum, equispaced from each other along a circle coaxial to the axis of rotation of the drum.
EFFECT: simplifying the design, reducing the weight, increasing the reliability and ease of use, and expanding the measurement capabilities.
