FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to tilling machines. The potato planter section contains a hopper for potato tubers, a scooping device, which is a disk with twelve spoons, a fertilizer metering device, a fertilizer duct, a copying wheel and a coulter. According to the invention, a hydrogel hopper is installed on the section, at the bottom of which there is a dosing device powered by a scooping apparatus. Under the dosing device there is a storage chamber, at the bottom of which there is an active ejector controlled by a retractor connected via a relay to a piezoelectric sensor located inside the coulter. The sensor is installed at the end of the rod with a spring with a limit switch installed with the possibility of its movement along the rod to act on the sensor at the moment of opening the movable plates, when the rotor passes through them. The active ejector is connected to a movable working body located in the lower part of the section.
EFFECT: increase of yield of potatoes in arid areas by metered application of the hydrogel into soil separate from the tubers with its embedding in the transverse direction opposite the potato tubers.
