FIELD: drive axle gearboxes.
SUBSTANCE: gearbox consists of a crankcase, a drive gear and a driven gear. The drive gear is mounted in the crankcase on front and rear bearings. The gearbox comprises a device for fixing the outer rings of the front bearings, in which seats are made for the outer rings of the front bearings. A spacer sleeve is placed between the inner rings of the front bearings. The device for fixing the outer rings of the front bearings is attached to the crankcase by means of a bolted connection.
EFFECT: reduction of the radial runout of the drive gear, increase in the service life of the gearbox housing of the drive axle of the vehicle.
