FIELD: reproductive system.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems and methods of assessing the viability of a human embryo. The following is proposed: a system for implementing a method of assessing the viability of a human embryo which contains the steps during which the following is carried out: a viability indicator for a human embryo is generated by probabilistic classification of data representing a human embryo video using a three-dimensional (3D) artificial neural network (ANN), while a three-dimensional artificial neural network includes a 3D convolutional neural network (CNN), and the 3D CNN includes convolution layers each using a 3D convolution kernel and subsampling layers each using a 3D subsampling kernel; or a three-dimensional (3D) artificial neural network (ANN) is trained to probabilistically classify data representing a human embryo video to obtain a human embryo viability score.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the efficiency of obtaining a viable embryo.
