FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: low-emission vortex furnace contains upper afterburning and lower once-through burners with an enriched fuel-air mixture arranged in a row on the front screen, directed downwards, and installed opposite to the lower burners in the cold funnel of the lower blast nozzle, which are jointly oriented tangentially to the conditional body with a horizontal axis of rotation. Below the cold funnel, there is a holding and drops afterburning system. The furnace is divided by a pinch into a combustion chamber with a cold funnel and an afterburning chamber located above it with the pinch consisting of two protrusions formed by pipes of the front and rear screens concave inside the furnace. In the ledge of the front screen, lower once-through burners are installed at the bottom and afterburning burners directed towards the rear screen with an upward inclination are installed at the top, and on the other side, in the ledge of the rear screen, protective blast nozzles directed upwards and downwards along the rear screen are installed; in addition, an aerodynamic ledge is provided in the upper part of the rear screen.
EFFECT: improved environmental and economic efficiency while maintaining a low-temperature, low-emission combustion process.
