SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means and methods of protecting animals from ticks. The composition for combating mole mites contains the following active ingredients: a quinoline derivative, a compound of general formula (1), and their acid additive salts:
where R1 means a hydrogen atom, -COR4, -COOR4 (where R4 means an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms), -CH2OCH3, or -COCH2OCH3 and R2 and R3 can be the same or different and each means a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms; compound of general formula (10), and their acid addition salts:
where R11 means an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R12 means an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and at least another agent selected from the group of carbaryl, bendiocarb, permethrin, flupyrimine, fenobucarb, propoxur, fenitrothion, trichlorfon, phenothrin, deltamethrin, tetramethrin, abamectin, and acid addition salts of these compounds. The composition is used in the method of combating mole mites.
EFFECT: proposed composition for combating mole mites is highly effective against mites of the Dermanyssidae family and the Macronyssidae family, exhibits a synergistic effect, and does not cause resistance.
