FIELD: fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in industrial and civil facilities, including those with increased fire hazard for localizing fires, as well as for effective fire extinguishing in rooms using automatic fire extinguishing systems. The method for controlling the pressure in the gas fire extinguishing agent tank of the gas fire extinguishing device provides for preliminary connection of the gas fire extinguishing agent tank through the tank outlet with an adapter for the gas fire extinguishing device. The adapter comprises a passage channel mated with said outlet with a branch connected to a fitting with a check valve. The outlet of said passage channel is provided with a locking element and is connected to the locking and starting device of the gas fire extinguishing device. The non-return valve has a cone-shaped part that enters the cavity of the fitting. The fitting is configured to be connected to a pressure control device. The adapter is connected through the passage channel to the mentioned locking and starting device of the gas fire extinguishing device. The locking and starting device consists of a body for the pusher connected to the locking element of the adapter on the one end and to the atomizer on the other end. The housing for the pusher is a hollow rod with a mounting hollow base. In the lower part of the rod and partially in the mounting hollow base, coaxial grooves for the mounting pin are made. A spring-loaded pusher with a through passage channel is fixed inside the rod, comprising a mounting base. The mounting base has a through hole coaxial with said grooves, through which the pusher is fixed in a spring-loaded position through said grooves by means of a mounting pin. The atomizer is a hollow cylindrical cap, strung on the housing for the pusher and fixed through the holes in its lower part by means of the mentioned pin through the mentioned grooves and hole. In the upper part of the atomizer there is a cavity for placing a lock. In the upper part of the atomizer, spray holes are made on the sides. The lock forms a stop for said rod and prevents the spring from expanding. The destruction of the lock leads to the decompression of the spring. The decompression of the spring leads to the movement of said pin along said grooves in the direction of the locking element. The pusher is placed in such a way that when the pin is moved, it moves in the direction of the locking element, pierces the locking element and releases the fire extinguishing agent. After filling the container, said fitting is connected to a pressure control device.

EFFECT: 1) expanding the functionality of the gas fire extinguishing device; 2) ensuring the alternate possibility of alternately filling the gas fire extinguishing device with different substances, for example, without being limited to gas fire extinguishing agent and propellant gas, as well as providing the possibility of refuelling, replacing the fire extinguishing agent or gas in the tank of the gas fire extinguishing device without the need to disconnect it components; 3) providing the possibility of connecting pressure control devices and other suitable devices to a gas fire extinguishing device that does not have such functionality without using an adapter, as well as disconnecting these devices if it is necessary to check their operability or verify them.
