FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: creation of high-speed information processing devices. The optical digital-to-analogue N-ial m-bit converter provides a simplification of the manufacturing method and the realization of the possibility of processing electronic signals. An optical transparency is introduced into the device, made by layer-by-layer deposition of m-optically transparent films having a constant transmission function equal to N-1, while the length of each upper film is less than the length of the lower film per pixel of one digit; a line of radiation m-sources and a photodetector, the inputs of the device are the inputs of a line of radiation m-sources, the outputs of which are connected to the corresponding inputs of an optical transparency, the outputs of which are connected to the inputs of an optical adder, the output of which is connected to the input of a photodetector, the output of which is the output of the device.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency.
